NAME: Rebelle Bettie
LOCATION: Lausanne, Switzerland
TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF:
I’m a pin-up model and burlesque performer. I dance and perform vintage and burlesque acts in the Elite Showgirls Events Troupe in Geneva. I’m a graphic designer by day and I also design posters for burlesque events. The pin-up style is more than a look for me, it gives me motivation and confidence and allows me to be strong while expressing myself artistically.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE:
I love vintage classic styles with a modern twist. As in Burlesque, I love to add sparkles and glitters almost everywhere and a touch of rock’n roll with my tattoos... a radiant rockabella style!
WHO ARE YOUR INFLUENCES:
Bettie page is the first pin-up I knew and my always favourite, then Miss Victory Violet for her various beautiful looks. Burlesque and vintage beauty Eliza D’lite for my glitter side and inspiring Bad girls like Tura Satana for the rockin’side.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE LLB FLOWER AND HOW DO YOU LIKE TO WEAR IT?
My favourites are the Lily’s flowers, especially the green one I wear with a lot of tiki/tropical inspired outfits. But the double red Hibiscus is the one I wear all the time because I’m a big red colour fan.
